Preconstruction Project Portfolio Planning and Controls Management
Develop standard language for procurement to obtain favorable commercial terms and conditions, to ensure consistency between contracts, and to protect the client from potential liability. Assist in the formulation, solution, and negotiation, and review of client contracts as they pertain to the delivery of the program.
Project / Program Portfolio and Controls Management
Recommend project policies and procedures for management of Change Order and Claims Avoidance processes. Assist in the analysis, development of strategies, negotiation, and resolution of construction contract claims.
Project Portfolio and Controls Management Reporting
Assist in developing reporting procedures to ensure that all conditions of project / program have been complied with. Provide contractual and business advice to the client through executive, management, project manager and stakeholder reporting. Provide advice and support on major construction issues. Assist management in making effective and timely decisions to investigate and resolve major contractual claims and/or changes.

Plan, direct, coordinate and budget activities concerned with the design and construction of structures, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation. Directly responsible for establishing the high level of cost planning/control and financial reporting in construction management systems for the project. In this capacity develop and complete cost planning/control measures and financial reporting for various engineering and construction projects by providing analysis and review of cost/budget expenditures and anticipates cost deviations, using trends and cost analysis modules.
